Is it worthy to buy a new iPad When already own a macbook air

i have been confusing getting ipad while.i don't know how useful when own mba.to me,mac programming , college study.i don't go out,but love stunning display of new ipad.is worthy buy new ipad because gives better experience?

 

pointless question ask. decide yourself. "a better experience" subjective ; if "a better experience" worth $399 or more you, go ahead , one.
