i having dilemma on computer choose. current have ipad 2 , macbook pro (base 13' 2010 core duo). want purchase macbook air secondary computer take me work @ new job (i work 9 hour shifts). need make decision because work in apple store , leaving @ end of month in order fulfill full time duties @ new job. need use employee discount asap. want air speedy internet use (huge factor), documents, streaming video (youtube, hbo go, , netflx), , twitter. don't play computer games. buy 11 inch complaints battery seeing discouraging. i've had more enough time in store demo both them being plugged in day, , me selling them, have no real world experience.
apple quite estimates of battery life.
general browsing internet or word processing give 4-5 hours of battery life. however, moment start watching youtube videos, playing flash games,etc, expect battery life go down 3 (or less if doing intensive stuff).
