early entry level 13" 2011 mbp - good deal?

is $929 considered price 2011 13" mbp 4/320 configuration? $170 off original $1099 price, , year old refurbished model. reason late 2011 or wait 2012 update?...trying stay at/under $1k...

 

i bought refurb 13 inch 2.7 ghz model today shall see. thought great deal , first mac.
