Early 2011 MacBook Pro Won't Turn On

my 2011 macbook pro won't turn on today reason. fine last night when put sleep morning there no indication of activity.

• the magsafe green battery lights not come on when pressed.
• no other peripherals plugged in.
• attempted reset smc, nothing.
• put in original ram (note: i've used upgraded ram several months). nothing.

should suck 70 mile trip apple store?

 

yes, if it's hardware related need professional advice. anything, really.
when try turn on, hear (fans, hdd)?
