Cannot Connect


my boss having problem iphone: every time opens app store, gives him error message "cannot connect itunes store" , ever let him thru. know i've had happen handful of times not often. in instances, waited until later , tried again worked. i'm not sure causing every time. suggestions on going wrong?

after research, have found few answers reset phone. mentioned wi-fi connection. phone doesn't have connected wi-fi open app store right? suggestions helpful, i've been trying figure out week.
 

the times i've seen if i'm on wifi has internet filter set disallow app store/itunes store. have tried on 3g?

if haven't been able connect itunes store:

make sure ios software date connecting ios device itunes , clicking on check update in device's summary page in itunes.
check , verify in range of wi-fi router or base station. if on 3g capable device, make sure cellular data turned on settings > cellular data.

note: if connected 3g, larger items may not download. may need connect wi-fi download apps, videos, , podcasts.

check make sure have active internet connection. can check user guide device connecting internet.
check make sure other devices (portable computers, example) able connect wi-fi network , access internet.
try resetting (turning off , on again) wi-fi router
if issue still persists see, iphone , ipod touch: troubleshooting wi-fi networks , connections or ipad: troubleshooting wi-fi networks , connections.
