i know has been asked before. did not answer, there way rid of others in itunes besides complete restore got 32g. couple of days ago synced twice , on 1g. hope knows takig time read
if you've got time, can compare file sizes on phone each program (in settings) download file sizes in itunes store. then, see ones hogging more space should , consider deleting them versus data you'll lose removing them. can reinstall them later original smaller size.
backup , restore easier.
