Testing iPad Web Aplication Ad Hoc

hi there,

i'm trying test web application on ipad via ad hoc network i've created on macbook. (using create network in network preferences)
i've manually set ip 192.168.0.1

thing is, let me connect ipad network can't access files on mac.

i've been trying connect using ip address of macbook unfortunately it's not working.
i've been trying connect virtual mamp server running on http://localhost:8888/ (which should 192.168.0.1:8888 on ipad). still not working though.

ideas, or advice welcome!
