hi, since bought new mba 2011 in searching how install sl on cause don't lion @ all. maanaged install working , since there lot of people here wants here you'll need
1. mba 2011
2. snow leopard retail dvd
3. usb flash 8gb or more
4. external display (and cable connect mba obviously)
5. usb or sd card
first have make usb drive install disc. here's how

insert usb in mba restart , while booting hold down option key ask disk boot. have choose flash drive (the usb one). have format lion partition (and data on make backup first). once done can freshly install snow leopard. after installation stucked on startup screen. don't worry it's missing driver. connect mac external display , you'll see new freshly installed snow leopard. here can make system update 10.6.8 , insert drive attached file (which kext) air , install it, repair permissions reboot, aaand you're go brand new snow leopard installed
