iMac won't detect wifi automatically

i've had i7 2010 imac little on year , has given me no trouble @ all.

detected wifi network automatically when waking sleep.

of sudden last couple days have manually find network. not big deal since internet still works great, strange of sudden , no matter "fix" try doesn't work.

guess when updated newest firmware, because seemed start right after that.

 

this happened me when had imac bought couple weeks ago. took because didn't find acceptable wouldn't find it's connection after waking up. have since bought macbook air. update 10.7.3. didn't happen everyone, some. can call apple if still have applecare , there several things can try make work.

spent several hours on phone them , had me download sort of packet sent information engineers. got me several days later, unfortunately 2 other things had me try didn't work. said aware of issue , have manually connect. isn't big deal, frustrating apple user several years, seems updates can bring bad luck many users.

wish apple wouldn't have become popular, feel these things didn't used happen. bought macbook air , downloaded 10.7.3 in store , told them return if didn't work. has been fine, won't doing updates computer when come out, @ least not until it's been awhile see how have worked else. make sure air backed up, can go old update if have to.
