Does the "New iPad" not "iPad 3" name suggest combined Macbook Air/Pro Model?

so "new ipad" out dropping numeric indicator of generation model (previously ipad 2 etc). suggest looking @ "new iphone" next (not iphone 4, iphone 4s etc.) , ultimately, "new macbook" - representing combined model of macbook air , macbook pro going forward?

apple said have lot forward in 2012 major revisions of iphone , macbook supposedly awaiting (and tv perhaps), make sense - cleaner/neater way of referring major product lines...

thoughts?

macbook air , macbook pro 2 separate products.

summarize......no.
