i didn't care retina display, , great looks on iphone; didn't find needed have on ipad. content enough ipad 2 tote around year or 2 before inevitably trading in it's newest incarnation.
retina seemed great addition ipad though, , i'm sure lot of people going enjoy brand spanking new ipads (for lack of better name). hadn't sat down , thought it, or implied until 10 min ago... , hate idea.
when bought ipad 2, experiment. didn't know how useful might turn out. didn't know if sit idly months on desk @ home, or if turn out marvel of modern technology become piece of me. bought 16 gb version. boy regret it. specially now.
not buying ipad, don't regret that; regret getting 16 gb version.
thing has become inherent part of day, use constantly, note-taking, web browsing, email reading, photo viewing , else jobs implied on great keynote in 2010.
but, find myself using more , more, reading periodicals. have couple of subscriptions magazines, , love them.
find out magazine issues gonna end weighing whole lot more each on account of retina display. pixels mean space, , worse part is, ipad can't display oomph... i'll have download anyway. new ipad users have download content ipad 2 , original ipad, although won't use either... turns lot of wasted space...
on 16gb ipad, issue specially infuriating. on regular usage (which lot), have had cut down amount of apps installed, limit downloaded issues 1 per periodical, have no music, few or no videos, , still have 1.6 gb free... , i'm finding periodicals , apps in general weigh in lot more stuff have download, cannot use... wtf.
no, seriously... wtf.
should have gone ahead , killed off 16gb ipad... become useless pretty soon, larger files on everything. it's little space. can't fathom using thing @ it's full potential less 16 gb internal storage is, can't imagine bigger files. it'll start feeling 256 mb thumb drive...
retina fabulous, great, awesome. new ipad sizes should 32, 64 , 128.

i ipad user whom 16gb or 8gb ipad perfect for. have desktop store media files , stream everything, means more space on ipad apps , whatever other junk want put in there. if apple didn't think there market 16gb, wouldn't have created it, there is. muck we'd think are, guys in cupertino not dumb.
