Apple Cinema Display 23" with MBP 2011 ?

my question is, if compatible setup? i'd love buy 27 tb display, really can not justify spending on monitor. not needs great monitor, looks , displays content larger 2011 15" mbp does. sooooo...does work? , reasons should't 23" one?

 

no reason wont work. you'll need mini displayport dvi adaptor use it, can either apple branded 1 or third party 1 (they work well).
