Warranty on apple products sold through a third party?

i'm considering buying used ipad 2 seller on amazon. listing reads follows:

*** attention: has 2 unnoticeable dead pixels on screen & apple warranty until nov/24/2012***

if warranty still applicable, mean technically return ipad due 2 dead pixels , given new one?

as warranty bound machine , not owner, can problem stolen apple products, warranty still valid, not replacement 2 dead pixels, apple's pixel policy allows 2 dead pixels.
