Converting docs to PDF

this topic doing head in! university student , bought new ipad. planning annotate power point files find out can annotate pdfs . problem is, our lecturers upload power points on day wont have chance convert power point files pdfs on laptop.
have tried few apps this, either don't work or ****** job combining slide , half of powerpoint 1 page of pdf.

heard keynote can convert office files pdfs. can confirm case please? , can job conversion?? , size of powerpoint matter? think bigger file more problematic gets (or @ least think of ).

appreciate if can give advice

 

so presentation files in what? powerpoint?

1 option upload/open to/in google docs , download pdf, anotate, work you?
