iTunes opens whenever I turn on my laptop

hi

each time restart/turn on macbook pro (running lion) itunes opens laptop turns on. closing red cross doesn't help; if restart itunes comes again.

i'm guessing there's easy way fix this, can't think of 1 - help?

 

you close application cmd+q, clicking red x close windows.
since lion restarts open applications before shutdown, open itunes too, hasn't been quit.

btw, why don't use sleep feature?
