How to restore Safari completely to default settings

i running mac os x version 10.7.2 on macbookpro 3,1.

safari browser version 5.1.2(7534.52.7).

have done 'reset safari..' option bookmarks still remain. have tried searching such files 'com.apple.safari.plist' unable locate them within ~/library/preferences folder.

have deleted bookmarks , history within /safari folder , when opening safari browser, bookmarks still remain.

advice?
