Geektool Bandwidth Speed Monitor

so internet connection speed seems vary greatly. i'm sure i'm not 1 problem. i've been scouring interwebs shell script can used through geektools run bandwidth speed test using 1 of many available services (bandwidthplace, speednet, etc) , display on desktop, haven't found anything.

doesn't seem difficult create, basic idea run every few minutes in background know if netflix isn't streaming because cable provider slow or there other issue.

ideas?
