Cleaning your iPad screen?

i got ipad , case today , wondering getting screen protector. i've heard of members of forum saying don't use screen protectors , don't want cover beautiful retina display.

don't use screen protector, how clean screen smudges , fingerprints? have screen protector on phone , purell once in while, lol. read somewhere if use alcohol on ipad screen you'll ruin finish , you'll stuck white smudges.

i'm trying go not using screen protector , wanted know how guys keep screens looking clean , fresh.
