Anybody put a SATA 3 SSD in a SATA 1 Macbook?

so, tried , failed put sata 3 corsair ssd sata 1 power mac g5, it's not detected @ all.

macbook should here next week, , turns out it's sata 1. corsair sata 3 drives backward compatible sata 1 , 2.

so, know if it'll work? put sata 3 inside sata 1 macbook , had work?

 

it should work, make 'appear' , have go disk utility (it should appear in here) , format mac os extended.
