Password protect Apps or Folders in OSX ?

hi..
1 of office employee started studying objective-c , since has no mac, wants tests on macbook.

have got delicate contents , apps , information on macbook.

is, password protect whole home folder, public access 1 folder (so can save xcode documents there).

, password protect lot of apps, if tries open, prompt password.

so, how ?


multiple user account not solution, since tried , , in there, spotlight search, xcode , finder view doesnt work @ all. crap!

 

the way set password protected disk images. not practical applications.
