Can I sell my MBP with a busted video card?

mbp has been out of action several months now... complete idiot , opened case clean out fans. since have not been able video when boot computer. boot, , can osx, nothing shows on screen though. took authorized apple repair store quoted me $1800 new logic board.

question though; buy computer parts on ebay or something? or should let gather dust in closet, has been doing...

 

no reason not sell it, long let potential buyers know situation. might $20 it. might $200 it. either way, it's better nothing, gathering dust.
