iPhoto versus PS Elements

i take pics canon dslr , sony point , shoot. use iphoto currently, i'm wondering if find value ps elements. want learn how touch photos, i'm concerned integration iphones, ipad, etc.

benefits or downfalls of getting ps elements rookie camera?

 

iphoto photo importer , organiser, whereas photoshop elements photo editor, none of management options of iphoto.

might want check out apple's aperture, nice balance between two.
