okay, i've had 4s since launch day. i've been plagued battery life issues day 1. however, it's random occurrence. issue seems hot , drain battery in few hours, other times doesn't hot , battery fine. @ random times, hot surfing web (nothing running in ground). however, @ other times doesn't @ all. when doesn't hot, acts "normal" (like iphone 4). i've experienced 4s getting hot in pocket before (doesn't happen lot, occasionally).
i've tried can think of, problem persists. isn't deal breaker, i'm wondering if have defective hw. if so, might make genius bar appointment. on average, i'm medium intensity user (1 2 hours of web browsing, 10 minutes of phone calls, 20 text messages). take off charger @ 5:30a.m. , 5:30p.m. it's around 30%. iphone4 @ 70%. believe battery issue devices heating @ random times.
so, question is: has had time 4s, experience phone heating during normal use?
i'm hoping many of don't have problem. make me feel better going apple store , talking genius.

on side note, have black 64gb version. wifi stays on time, , use icloud features.

cdma iphones hot , eat battery when signal low.
