InDesign export to PDF help

i need export entire book file pdf printer. images tritones - end flat , light in pdf.
1- same images export pdf photoshop beautifully
2- using no compression, conversion, etc. in export

first time working tritones. results such printing photoshop 7800, indistinguishable grayscale equivalents. in indesigh (although go light , flat when set overprint preview).

did try printing in os x , instead of printing save pdf?
in adobe indesign change pdf presets @ all? in cs4 can change quality of pdf high quality low quality different publisher standards or custom export pdf did try each of them? option calibrate monitor see on screen might not true output on printer!
first try printing in os , save pdf , see if you! if not mess quaility settings pdf output.
if else fails try monitor calibration. there tools out there screen calibration.
hope helps never used cs5.5 not sure difference between , cs4 version
