iPad 2 - iBooks problem

unable download ibooks ipad!! find book, click download, appears work fine. see book on shelf blue bar . book done downloading, book disappears! way have been able books onto me ipad has been download them on itunes or iphone, sync ipad. did upgrade new ibooks , still happening. ideas????
