Anybody unlocked via itunes with a NUC?

have moved vodafone (uk) 3. vodafone have emailed saying can unlock via itunes. heres copy of email

was wondering if has done before? i've connected itunes , not had pop or anything. wanted know expect/how unlock.

don't fancy restoring 5.1 or i'll loose 5.0.1 jb , unlock gevey sim. unless thats way unlock? can confirm?

all sorted now, turned on , off while plugged itunes. had re-activate

nice on cheaper plan bit. £15 month unlimited data, 3000 texts , 300 minutes untill new iphone comes out
