Setting to show text (sms) notification on lock screen but not message content

just every phone have give notification of new text while locked. know iphone goes 1 step further shows preview , it's from.

privacy reasons (work , personal) might not want people see texting me or says. simple message saying "2 new messages", or "1 missed call" on lock screen, not have unlock every time check.

how do this?

go messages -> "show preview" turn off. if you're on ios 5, go under notifications -> messages -> show preview -> off. on it'll like:


bob boberson
(2) text message(s)

instead of:

bob boberson
has preview! :o
second message! :o
