hi there,
got new tv , hdmi adapter minidisplayport.
i've connected , all, tv doesn't display full "image/desktop". cuts out menu bar , little on each side too.
i've tried changes resolution on tv (1080i, 1080p, etc) no luck.
i've tried checking , unchecking "overscan", doesn't either.
can see screenshot, of top gets cut off.
regarding issue?

could be, mirror displays selected?
system preferences > displays >> arrangement >>> mirror displays (but know, display lowest resolution determines maximum resolution used on both, 1 display have lower native resolution, except when both displays have same native resolution)
