i have itunes library on mini @ home , use air @ work "stream" library. meaning there absolutely no music stored on air, , purely streamed icloud.
question can edit of info on album air, , sync every device connected library?
i tested on air (same situation yours, no music streaming only) , messing around metadata , whatever changed, changed on local library @ home. thing having issues not updating artwork...regardless of never keeps new artwork. if talking cleaning metadata (song names, titles, spelling, genre, years, etc.) stuff work fine.
