hi have 21.5" 2.5ghz quad core i5 model of imac, have seen 2 different options on apple's website this, , wondering if maybe guys clear up. imac came 4gb of ram, according specs when bought it, said 8gb max, looked @ apple's instructions on replacing ram , said max ram imac 16gb. it??
i believe 32gb, have buy 4 8gb chips. apple not have option @ site. think have had 4 slots bit.

year it? guessing 2011 based on 2.5 i5. max @ 32gb 4x8gb. recommend going 16gb 4 x 4gb. since 8gb more costly.
