i noticed this, when playing game (the rpm of fans @ max) tilted mbp , humming noise whenever moved it. when touch moving fan , makes noise. dont know how else explain (if have fan, turn on , touch : ) there way tighten fan down or something? seems me fan might tad bit loose , moving slightly.
i think that's called angular momentum conservation. when tilt running mbp, change angular momentum of fans (because change axis of rotation). seems that, when fans running fast, puts lot of stress on fan fixture - i'm not sure source of noise is, might either fans touching enclosure, or change in frequency applied force.
