Comcast just set up my new Internet, and...

wirelessly posted (mozilla/5.0 (iphone; cpu iphone os 5_0_1 mac os x) applewebkit/534.46 (khtml, gecko) version/5.1 mobile/9a405 safari/7534.48.3)

... disappointed...

- tech did not introduce himself. (however, on-time.)
- did not talk much.
- did not know service signed for.

performing speedtest.net run, , got 17.89 mb/s. said, "you must have gotten 12 then, right?" told him ordered 20. says, "no, see, got 12 because turbo boost kicking in. also, if had gotten 20, need entirely different modem."

so you're telling me not did set me wrong service, brought wrong modem?

but, knowing better, ignored it. see, 12 mb/s (and 20) up to 12 or 20, with turbo boost. also, modem (a surfboard 5100) supports 38 mb/s...

/facepalm

these guys, swear! don't know squat! in 1 day of research had done, know more products does... urgh!

anyways... might docsis 3.0 modem. better $7/mo thing.

just getting docsis 3.0 modem , having 12 mb service you'd still faster speeds. expect i'd guess around 20mbit speeds though 17isn't bad either.
