Any Sony NEX-5N users here?

i'm interested in buying camera. i'm newb @ photography automatic setting me, touch screen auto focus neat feature have. have manual capability can learn also. size , weight interest me, there's no way i'll lugging heavy dslr everywhere, small form-factor camera holds true value me.

gonna use everyday , traveling photos (my mom going europe couple of weeks gonna use it), bit of youtube video making dad..

have passion design, camera can increase design 'sense'

nex-5n camera share experience?

specific question using video cam, has overheating issue (would shutdown after approx. 28 min) true?

also, there anyway can directly send video macbook air bypassing memory card? (iirc called continuous shooting)

hi - i've got one. happy it. (wanted smaller dslr). cracking second camera.

bought small video camera (at point toying underwater housing). such i'm impressed. did end using (buying) premiere elements edit avchd video though.

stills - find noise bit odd - sort of painterly in effect - that's operator error on part.

controls bit odd , fiddly angling screen nice.

high iso shots impressive.

thought panorama feature going gimmick - wow works!

have no idea bypassing memory card (not sure why you'd want that) - thought continuous shooting holding button down , getting lots of shots

oh, sorry - seen bit learning manual photography. if that's want i'd advise cheap slr body (canon?) , 1.4 plastic lens. sony doesn't have many lenses (the zoom comes 3.5-5.6) when playing depth of field etc isn't obvious you're doing. in opinion customisable point , shoot or fine pocketable video camera.
