3g iphone not working

i have had brothers iphone 3g did reset on delete contact of if , phone not working i`m getting on apple pic on .can 1 tell me how can fix problem many thank

 

start holding down sleep , home @ same time few seconds.

if doesn't boot up, restore iphone in itunes.
