Wrong colors on laserprinter.

i have imac os x 10.6.8.
combined hp color laserjet cm2320 wrong colors (red becomes orange , in general colors dark). using hp toners.
how can create color scheme (using colorsync?) repair this?
or can there more generic reason wrong-color issue?

it not color scheme, colorsync color profile. colorsync has been part of mac pretty since apple upgraded mac color. calibrating printers--nay, calibrating entire workflows--is standard practice. may purchase calibration kit automate calibration. may job manually using macos x colorsync utility included every mac.

before getting calibration, however, check 2 other things:

1. make sure have selected correct color profile printer. done in file/print... dialog box. popup menu selection named either color matching or colorsync.
2. your toner may old. toner powdered plastic , may color shift on time other plastic. if toner still melts, adheres paper, , solidifies without flaking-off, not recommend replace it.
