Sharp to Begin Retina Display Shipments for New iPad

there has been debate apple's suppliers new ipad display. initial batch seems supplied solely samsung, both sharp , lg reportedly expected provide displays well.

despite single display supplier, apple seems have been able produce enough inventory of new ipad avoid sell-outs despite apple described "record weekend".

since 3rd generation ipad's launch, response new high resolution retina display has been quite positive. there have been sporadic reports of defective yellow-tinged displays (see above) have prompted replacements. new ipad screen has been described "warmer" ipad 2 screen, comparison shots show larger difference in believed defective screens.
