a day or 2 ago responded software update prompt latest versions of both iphoto , itunes, iphoto won't launch. should re-install iphoto , start on again? how do if app store says can't re-install that's installed?

to re-install iphoto follow these instructions.
1. in finder, choose applications go menu.
2. drag application having issues trash.
3. insert ilife installation disc , install ilife application dragged trash. (you can select , install individual applications clicking customize option under installation type).
4. when finished, use choose software update apple () menu update software latest version.
