i planning on purchasing new 2012 imac ssd factory (when released of course)... moving 2009 mac pro 2.66 quad core top of line imac... pretty particular how setup new computer, new one... have lot of stuff don't want transferred on using migration assistant... preferences, apps, printer drivers, languages, etc.
erase ssd of pre-installed os , install fresh one, eliminating many things not need... languages, printer drivers, apps, etc.
how can that? i'm not familiar ssd , proper way format it... not familiar lion , how without install disc.
appreciated. thank you.
starting lion, things (such printer drivers) not loaded part of core os. loaded on demand.
there reason avoid other space? understanding space premium quite minimal now.
