Other Schools gets MacBooks, My HS had NO tech, and for a geek, that SUCKS.

jealous of these kids, because when went high school (i graduated in 2008), old school, , school district (whom pay taxes for, being 22) still seems showing no signs of improvement.

wish had @ high school when went hs, surely have made me pay more attention in class, was/am tech savvy .

school had nothing tech, , in fact, over-flowing took out last computer lab classroom, yes, went school no computer lab. programming classes, , robotics classes cut, didn't have either. didn't have our own library, used public library. kids went there grew on farms, , never been on bus or train in lives, less, knew how drive. if kid did know how drive, drove nothing short of big lifted truck or suv school.

if wasn't sports, wasn't important school, yes, means had 1 dance year, prom, seniors had priority of attending. rather concentrate on trivial things such banning ketchup doing foster brains of future, such integrating technology.

there no such things lockers, , nothing done right, building maintenance, keeping state laws. bells off several minutes (20-30 minutes!) nobody every paid attention them, , has gone un-fixed long, though volunteered fix them, since use rauland system bells tied in pbx.

learned, farm kids gone, because area of chandler, no longer has farms, rather, cooke-cutter housing developments.

had 2 mac labs, both stocked imacs, because school district knew nothing macs, sat there, , sat there, , sat there, , sat there..... mac labs turned classrooms well.

also, bought brand new computers came windows xp (brand new @ time, remember that), , downgraded them windows 98 because "district standards"...despite having applications web-based (grading , like), because head of didn't want learn new os. believe had posted thread long time ago somewhere on dslr .

sad poor excuse high school, , if take note of 1 thing, be, never let children attend cusd school (unless chs). wish had bugged parents transfer real school chandler high @ time, instead of attending sorry excuse of "school"

basha high school, stuck in 1950, , never see cool this.

school ipads , macbooks surely lot better way spend money useless things such smart board teacher never use, or document camera never shine @ document ever in entire life...instead sit in supply closet unused....ugh pissed off @ way district pay taxes failing, , doing nothing it. adult, want it, don't know start.
