Network printer not detected?

i bought brother dcp-7065dn.

plugged network , has valid ip address.

downloaded up-to-date drivers brother's website , installed them.

scanner works fine.
however, cannot seem able configure printer.

going settings, printers, when want add it, it's not there.
if enter ip address, seems find installation never completes.

doing wrong? new mac world case.

ps: can see printer on windows laptop, no problem.

as suggested somewhere, plugged printer directly through usb , works fine.
plugged network, , still not working
