Does Windows 7 run better on Mac hardware?

i'm thinking installing windows 7 professional on macbook air via bootcamp, i'm curious if runs better on mac hardware versus dell. in advance!

 

i've been running windows 7 (and windows 8 consumer preview) on macbook pro since release. in experience have found that, in cases, performance of windows not compared running on dell pc (such running antivirus scan or starting cold boot barely startup programs running). i've suspected has been boot camp drivers, i'm speculating.

overall, i've been happy running windows on macbook pro , continue run windows on apple's hardware, when comes laptops.
