Weird - Safari re-rendering text?

when visit websites, safari loads , after second, text on website becomes distorted/thinner. doesn't happen sites (facebook, macrumors, gmail fine), happens enough random sites think it's safari rendering issue opposed site-specific problem.

whenever visit yahoo example, i'll see "example 1" briefly before screen changes "example 2." prefer first image because looks bolder , clearer, if rendering feature of safari, consider turning off annoyance/aesthetic reasons. both screen shots taken @ same size - didn't expand 1 make same size other (hence changing of text).

know why happening or have insights?

i'm running 2008 aluminum macbook on latest versions of snow leopard , safari.

i've seen happen on forum people can embed youtube videos; pages containing videos have "re-rendering" issue. there youtube or flash elements on page?
