Trying to make a bootable CD

when in terminal trying burn .img file (mint linux ppc installer) onto flash drive, did:

sudo if=/terminus/mini.img of=/volumes/mintlinux/mini.img bs=lm

, got:

dd: bs: invalid argument

sorry, pretty trying follow tutoruial mintppc page(http://mintppc.org/content/installation-mintppc-92) burning onto flash drive (yes, instructions are 9.2, referred me page burn , boot usb drive). have no idea bs=lm thing is, know rest, , trying without adding it, flash drive couldn't booted, open firmware. (by way, tried boot both clamshell indigo ibook , 1.33 ghz ibook g4. there can fix this? thanks!

 

you better off using disk utility make disk img/iso. enter blank media, open disk utility, select blank disc, select restore, locate (or drag , drop) iso/img, click burn. done.
