Repeated Firewall App Permission Dialog

hello.

think i've noticed tendency in past, not in awhile. it's cropped again. have 1 application in particular (xbmc) that, no matter how many times add it, remove it, re-add it, whatever, firewall access permission list in security prefs pane...the "do want [application] accept incoming network connections" dialog pops when start application? minor nuisance except i'm using system mouse-less htpc, getting rid of dialog bit of pain in butt .

ideas how fix this? turning firewall off not particularly idea.

 

i have same problem xbmc app , itunes. spoke apple care , told me turn off firewall. no kidding. i'm new mac expressed concern , said mac users on wpa2 wireless network don't bother turning on. macs ship disabled. true?
