MVC design question

hi. have question regarding mvc design concept. in diagrams have seen ( including material stamford lectures) there no allowance data passed model controller. , yet data has passed in order passed  a view,right?. or maybe i'm mistaking data communication? 

have private model object declared in main controller per recommended in lectures ,but surely  the results have fed model view(via controller)?

 

probably diagrams getting @ model shouldn't initiate talking controller. can respond queries, , you're right, that's way can data view!
