mac osx lion seemed unpolished, and, worse, not innovative. when mountain lion dropped couple weeks ago, pumped: relatively rapid update, , hoped address our concerns. hrmph. i've been using mountain lion more week now, , got same feeling got lion: scott forstall—apple's own doctor moreau—is still pushing ungodly desktop/ipad hybrid. not future; it's patched genetic experiment anchored in apple's past , present successes. of mountain lion's new features—and there few—the new os raises terrifying brace of thoughts: apple has run out of ideas. or worse, apple afraid implement new concepts, fearing kill company's golden goose. afraid change world once again, steve jobs used say, 1 desktop @ time. mountain lion has same finder , same app-centered approach king-of-the-jungle forbearer: more of same gimmicky interfaces full of leather , ripped out pages; more outdated graphic metaphors , unnecessarily cute eye candy. , yes, has few new features, useful , welcome, nothing zowielala amazing or innovative. , of these new features have dark sides.

i read that, , found interesting. heard somewhere apple (finally!) going upgrade opengl version 2.x 3 - think version numbers - they're not standing still. giz has point; besides airplay , icloud, can both considered apps, there's not new in ml lion.
