Keyboard issues, anyone?

to right point, don't ipod's touch keyboard. sure, it's designed fine, looks good, , easy hit letters, lags. badly. type post on ipod, press letters, , second later, pop , make sound @ 1 time. else having problem? know how fix it?

ps- happens in safari , opera browser.

 

what generation itouch?

have tried double tapping home button , removing running unused apps?
