i dug old first gen mac mini in grad school. not tech savy use media center. particularly put of dvds onto external hard drive , use mac mini media center. have gotten iphone 4s , ipad 2 don't want invest more, looks there may possibilities these??? major thing playing dvds , not care hd stuff. possibilities , should go?
if "first generation", have g4, best used boat anchor. none of modern home theaterish apps run on it, slow, , graphics chip won't able handle hd.
