step 1 – open terminal.app

either start typing terminal on spotlight, or going applications -> utilities -> terminal.

step 2 – open hosts file

open hosts typing on terminal have opened:

$ sudo nano /private/etc/hosts

type user password when prompted.

step 3 – edit hosts file


step 4 – save hosts file

when done editing hosts file, press control-o save file.
press enter on filename prompt, , control-x exit editor.
