hello-
i've been have wondering if has been having battery issues? charged phone took off charge morning @ 6:30 , lost 15% in 2 hours! ideas on why it's lossing charge fast? or suggestions appreciated! of you.
michael
i can go 2 days before need full recharge on 4s.
on iphone 4, assume go longer.
here's typically do:
1. don't charge phone until it's @ least 20% or lower. best results, let go way down zero, letting device shut off. if don't have time burn down completely, 20% or less spot.
2. charge 100% before unplugging/undocking it. don't partial charge, don't unplug , plug in again. let charge 100% uninterrupted. also, it's ok if let overcharge couple hours. (like if plug in before go bed , don't unplug until next morning. time , phone keeps charge in 90 99% range couple hours in morning on standby.)
3. use wifi instead of 3g whenever possible.
4. double-click home button, hold down icons on lower bar , x-out apps not using. icons down there active apps in standby mode. if there apps in standby mode you're not using @ moment, close them because hogging ram , using battery life.
5. lower screen brightness.
6. limit fetching frequency or push notifications on of more active apps (facebook, twitter, e-mail clients, breaking news apps, etc...). more apps have checking notifications , updates, more battery power phone going use it. (especially on 3g instead of wifi). have of apps set check updates if open them manually. have e-mail checking automatically, , it's set check once hour. of course depends on own personal needs - if need constant updates, you'll have configure stuff own personal needs.
....these things check starters.
99% of battery issues revolve around these things.
